We are excited to see your ideas come to life! Buildbox Pane The Buildbox pane allows you to do the following: Create a new game project. Open a recent project, if you have already started and saved one. View the latest Buildbox news and announcements. Access additional resources, such as Forum, Discord, our YouTube channel, and Buildbox facebook page.

Tabs The three Getting Started tabs provide you with the following options: Templates This tab displays a list of templates that you can choose to get started. These are basically prebuilt mini-games that demonstrate various Buildbox features and functionality.

To preview a template, hover your mouse over it. Just like the previous version of Buildbox, you can zoom in and out by using your mouse scroll. You can also pan your view by holding the left click and pressing the space bar both at the same time while you move your mouse. Now you can also rotate your view by holding the left clicker and pressing the space bar both at the same time while you move you mouse.

You may also add a 3D asset by clicking the Add Asset Library button on the upper left hand side. And yes, you can still drag and drop an asset. Once there, select the object that you want to add then click Add to Library. You will now see that you have Sphere under the category Objects.

Lets click the Sphere so we can move back to our scene. First one is the Select Tool. This tool allows you to disable and enable selecting multiple objects in your scene.

Next is the Move Tool. While you can still use the options panel to manually move your object, this tool also allows you to change the position of your object by clicking and dragging. You can also select the Move Tool by pressing 1 on your key board. The third button is the Rotate Tool. This tool allows you to rotate your object in 3 dimensional axis, and of course you can still use the options panel if you prefer it that way. Short cut button for the Rotate Tool is 2.

Next is the Scale Tool. This tool allows you to change the dimension of your object. Again, you can still use the options panel to precisely adjust the size of your object.

Short cut button is 3.
